What Is This Scam?
Fraudsters are using the name Nyle Maxwell's Vehicles Unique — and in some cases, photos of vehicles from the collection — to create fake car listings and solicit payments from unsuspecting buyers in Austin, TX and beyond.
These scammers may contact victims through Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, text messages, or phone calls. They present themselves as representatives of Vehicles Unique and request deposits, wire transfers, or other payments for vehicles that do not exist for sale.
Vehicles Unique is not affiliated with any of these listings or communications. We have never authorized anyone to sell vehicles on our behalf, and we have no sales operation of any kind.
Warning Signs You're Being Scammed
